Working closely with the Knockout Concepts team - Launch Farm helped to unveil the world's first Mobile 3D Scanner to the public at Maker Faire Detroit. To those new to this event - just imagine SXSW, but for an even geekier swarm of early adopters searching for what's next from mostly independent innovators.
The Knockout Concepts crew showed up at the Henry Ford Museum with two fully functioning prototypes in hand. They roamed the event grounds performing quick 3D scans of everything from R2D2 to onlooker's body parts.
The show was a smashing success with Knockout Concepts winning First Prize for "Maker of Merit" and tech fans will be able to learn more in an upcoming Make Magazine feature.
